PORTFOLIOS

Our exhibits (2017-present) have included hundreds of photographs and documents both for display and as supporting research.  This site includes a small portion of each.  Click on the link below to view some of our past exhibits: When Women Use Their Power, Firsts as Citizens, Athlos and Origins, respectively.  On the fifth Portfolio page, we have included two virtual exhibits:  They Came to Teach (about the first teachers hired at Carver in the 1948-49 academic year), and The Local Impact of Brown v. Board of Education.

NOTE:  Our major portfolio, #1, is under construction.  It contains our permanent  exhibit, of which we continuously add information.
